thewayneYes, the founder/lead singer of KISS. Yes, it's basically The Osbornes with a different family. But in this case, they are not a hideously disfunctional family -- the entire family is articulate, intelligent, and seems to be reasonably well-adjusted. 3/4ths of the dialog isn't bleeped out, in fact, I think I've heard two bleeps out of the four or five episodes that I've seen. I'm finding it to be pretty darn funny: his family doesn't let him get away with anything!
I pulled up KISS on Wikipedia as I've never really followed them, they just weren't my taste in music (I didn't know that Paul "Ace" Frehley (lead guitar and vocals) and Peter Criss (drummer/vocals) left the band because of drug use and creative differences. Simmons was born in Israel and raised Jewish, which I was kind of surprised to find out.
Anyway, it's a fun half hour.
