thewayneRusset and I are going to give it a go: she tried a couple of years ago but petered out, this'll be my first forray.
I'm going to be writing SF built around a framework that a number of friends and I developed back in '94 or so to create game supplement material. That project never materialized, but I wrote an awful lot of material for it (23,000 words) so I've got a good amount of background to draw from. I've been working on an outline and collecting ideas, so we'll see what happens.
Basically I'm going to go with a framework/short story setup (my wife suggested it!) and I think that should work fine. We should have registered a few weeks ago, their servers are really getting hammered, theoretically my user name will be Cloudster or Cloudster47 if I ever get a response. I might have to register from school, I've found that our ISP/connection/whatever doesn't handle complicated PHP sites very well.
I have no idea what Russet's user name will be. I think she's planning on a big SG:A story.
It'll eat into my tv time a bit, not that I watch much, but it'll definitely eat into my WoW time. C'est la vie.
