"West Bank Story"!

I'm semi-watching the Oscars while I'm studying, and the film West Bank Story just won an Oscar for Best Short Feature. I HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS FILM! It's only 20 minutes, and basically it's a West Bank story of two competing falafel stands, one owned by Israelis, the other Palestinians. It's a retelling of West Side Story/Romeo & Juliet. Oh, man! The clip they showed was so funny!

Gee, thanks. Now I've got the image of Israeli commandos and Arab terrorists preparing for battle by singing, dancing, and snapping their fingers. And of course there's the female suicide bomber singing, "I want to be in the Middle East ..."

Glad to help! You're not too far off, it looked like they were showing Hasidic Jews and Palestinians doing routines reminiscent of the Jets and the Sharks. I REALLY want to see this!

No! Now I see Palistinean woman who are suicide bombers, using (ahem) sticks of dynamite before using those sticks of dynamite! Gah!
