I've been reading a lot of quotations and such to try and write some decent marriage vows, and I came across a great quote:

"Marriage is our last, best chance to grow up."

I have no further comment to say at this time. :-)

This may be TMI but the one moderately-serious discussion Mike and I ever had about marriage (he was phobic about it), ended when he declared that if he never got married it meant he never had to grow up.

Why I didn't wise-up at the time is quite beyond me now. ::shakes head::

I'd hate to think it's the last chance, but I do agree it's one of the best. I know I've grown up a lot since we tied the knot, and I hope to continue doing so.

I'd love to get to see the vows y'all finally decide upon, if you'd be willing to share them.
