The problem is that they're beginning to really annoy the pros who have used their products for years. I know others who have abandoned MS totally -- zero MS software now on their networks. And if MS embeds the crapware and DRM that is in Vista in their next server OS, that number is going to grow.
It will be very interesting to see where MS is ten years from now and what they've gone through in the meantime.
