Man arrested in Ohio for not letting a Circuit City employee check his bag as he was trying to leave

Of course it's a little more complicated than that, he was arrested for failure to give a cop his driver's license even though he wasn't operating a vehicle. The charge was then changed to basically obstructing an officer in the performance of his duty. It later turns out that the cop did not read him his Miranda Rights.

The guy, Michael, was defending his civil rights. The cop didn't know the law, and the Circuit City manager was an officious prig. At least that is how it appears.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out in court.
