Within their mindset and framework, they are The Chosen and therefore they cannot help but to build an amazing game that people will flock to and buy by the score, accompanied by glowing reviews. It will convert millions, and they will be sainted.
It didn't quite turn out like that. The game play was derided as repetitious and silly, but they're still The Chosen, so they then choose to strike back with attempted censorship and legal threats, rather than do what normal game companies do, and try and better their product.
