New Yummy Goodness from Trader Joe's!

(Well, at least it was new to me).  They now have Trader Ming’s Yin Yang Peanuts, “a blend of wasabi iso peanuts & honey roasted peanuts.”

YUMMY!  If you like wasabi, or at least don’t actively hate it, these are quite good.  The two flavors, along with the peanuts, are quite complimentary and I don’t think they’re really all that hot.  Of course, if you were to get a handful that was 75%+ wasabi nuts, well, I guess I’d hope that you really like wasabi.

Anyway, worth trying if there is a TJ’s near you.


And on a related note, I could kick myself.  Rich & Karyn, Phoenix-area locals, went to Virginia to see Bill & Debora (as seen on their Xanga and Live Journal blog pages).  Had I been thinking, I would have suggested me helping Rich build a care package for Deb: she loves TJ’s wasabi goodies.  Sigh.  Hopefully I’ll be meeting up with Bill & Deb next year for Origins and I’ll remember to build one for her then.

Don't kick yourself. And cancel the wasabi order. It's weird, but over the last year as my metabolism has changed, I have lost any desire for certain foods and flavors that I used to really crave. Wasabi doesn't taste that good to me anymore, nor does any flavor of cola (horrors!). Very odd.
