One million iPads sold in 28 days

thewayne"Apple has sold one million iPads just four weeks. Writing in an Apple press release, Steve Jobs compares this to the “74 days it took to achieve this milestone with iPhone.” Whichever way you look at it, the iPad is a huge success. That number equates to almost 36,000 units sold every day.
The press release mentions a couple other show-off figures: in the same time frame, 12 million apps have been downloaded by iPad users, and 1.5 million books have been checked out of the iBooks store. A lot of those will be free, but it sure shows that iPad users are download-happy.
