I hope all of you now know what phishing schemes are. I received this tonight, and in the heat of hatred that someone appeared to be trying to subvert my PayPal account, I almost clicked on the links. Well, you can't see them in this message, but every link redirected to a web site that was decidedly NOT PayPal. Even the PayPal link at the bottom of the page went to a different server, all of the phishing emails that I have previously seen sent the 'help' link back to the site they were spoofing.

Very clever scheme. Inflame people's emotions that they're about to be screwed, they're more likely to be thinking less rationally and may fall for your scam.

I forwarded the email to spoof@paypal.com, I trust the phishing site will be shut down soon.

I got one of these a few months ago, and also sent it along to Paypal's fraud. Like you, I was quite alarmed that there had been someone "added" to my account, but when I went to look at my real account, there seemed nothing amiss, so I was thereafter only nervous instead of actively hyperventilating.
