He suckered so many idiot politicians in to signing his no tax pledge that they've crippled any flexibility that the government had to make adjustments to the economy to try and improve things. Under his definitions and current political climate, the patron saint of the RNC, Ronald Reagan, would be slandered so massively as taxes were raised eight times during his two terms after he did a disasterous tax cut that gutted the government's revenue stream.

I have no problem with lower corporate taxes if (A) they would actually pay them rather than weasel out of them with 'off-shore revenue' and (B) incentives would be eliminated for off-shoring jobs.

Isn't this a sign of a bad thing when the legislators only want a figurehead to do their bidding, instead of an equal?
