WTF iTunes/iPhone? Did you REALLY need to add 130 apps to my phone?!

This is the second time in a month or so that for reasons unknown, 130 apps were transferred to my phone while syncing. WTF!!! This is ridiculous. I could delete them from my library, but there are several that I know I'll be adding back later, such as the Washington, DC subway schedule app what I only use one week a year.

*sigh*

Definite WTF.

ETA: I went ahead and deleted most of the apps from my library. In one case I went to look it up in the iTunes store and it was no longer available.

That is a LOT of stuff for anyone to forcibly dump onto your cleverphone, friend. Oy.

And it's the SECOND time! It's possible that it's happened before in the more distant pass, I don't recall. I've given it some thought and I can't come up with any pattern. Most of the apps had no recent updates, some were no longer available in the app store! The phone had no recent updates. I just don't get it.

At least through my deleting many of the apps, those particular ones will not be re-loaded.

Oh, goodness. That's not any sort of helpful for iTunes to do.

Not remotely! Or, in this case, locally. Takes at least half an hour to clean up. Fortunately, being unemployed, I could spend that time. Still.... And I just can't fathom anything that I did that could trip a condition that would tell iTunes 'Must reload apps!'
