Medical Oddity

There's this couple that used to hang out at Bear's for gaming and such. They got married, had a kid, and got weird to the point that they were no longer welcome. There are still intersecting circles, so news occasionally trickles around. While I was in Phoenix I found out that they had a second kid, and while she was in the hospital (presumably after she delivered) she was told that she's pregnant already.

I had thought that being pregnant meant no ovulation and that such a thing wasn't possible, apparently there are exceptions to that. I know breast feeding acts as a birth control method, still, I was rather surprised.

Being pregnant precludes *getting* pregnant. There ain't no bloody way. Show me the data. The uterine contortions of delivery ain't gonna distinguish from a baked bun and one still doughy.

Breast-feeding is not nearly so ... uh, emphatic.
