My niece (through my wife's side) is getting married in May in Longmont. On Friday they're doing a Catholic ceremony, Saturday a Sikh! Russet's family, though not her, are very straight Catholic, and she thinks that had not her father been dying, that I would have been pressured to convert. The niece met her hubby-to-be at uni and apparently they really hit it off. I hope it works for them, I have a dim view of people much under 30 getting married.
Should be quite interesting, though I wonder how much will be conducted in English. Also the food should be quite something. It's a 600 mile drive, but it's highway all the way and in May the weather will be fine. We'll probably have to board the dogs for doggy day care for the two ceremonies, that shouldn't be a big deal, we know an excellent animal hospital up there that we've used before. And I really like the Longmont area, though it's been a couple of years since I've been there, we were regulars until my friend's wife passed and he later sold the house and became a rambler in an RV.
