Jon Stewart had a lot of fun at Ford's expense last night talking about ads for wealthy gays who like expensive cars with constant electrical shorts.

I wonder how long before whatever Fundi group that got them to yank their adverts starts blathering about a boycott of Ford.

BAH! Ford won't get me back! Mostly because I want a car I can afford and rely on, but I'm going to tell everyone it's because they're Nazis!

No argument from me. My current and three previous vehicles have been foreign brands but American made. And they've been reliable. My dad has always bought "American" cars, which have a high percentage of foreign parts and assembly, and I can't believe how often he takes it into the shop.

I would never buy a new Ford, though I'd love to have a classic Mustang some day. Not the pony cars, more of a late 60's.

Henry Ford was definitely an anti-Semite, no doubt about it. Then again, though I can't think of his name (the senior 'Watson' who founded IBM) it has been written that his providing punched card tabulating equipment to the Nazi gov't is what made the Nazi's so efficient in rounding up the Jews and gypsies since they used it to tabulate census surveys with the help of IBM techies.
