Notes from the constitutional conventions clearly show that the attendees intended that the second amendment was meant for state militias, as in National Guard. Hunting: sure, why not. But that doesn't matter, 'cause AR-15s are fun!

Meanwhile, Texas will be LOOSENING their gun laws! New laws will be going into effect in four weeks that were passed during their now-ended legislative session.

The State of Texas is spending ZERO dollars to ensure that they get a full and accurate count of all citizens in Texas in the upcoming 2020 census, because they know the number of non-white citizens is soon to be eclipsed, and it scares the crap out of the government. So community groups are scrambling for money to assist census-takers to help get an accurate count.

As much as Texas brags - and boy, do they like to brag!, it is one majorly screwed-up state.

If they focused on the politics, they might make the memorials much fewer and farther between. Because it's always time for memorials, and never time for the politics.

They could memorialize victims much better by preventing people from adding to the list.
