I found a writing lecture course from Wil Wheaton's blog that I sent to Russet, she started watching it and has been enjoying it and getting good stuff out of it. Here's the email that I sent her. Thought you might like it.
Author Brandon Sanderson, whom I have never read, teaches at BYU. He had a lecture series professionally recorded and posted on YouTube. Each lecture is about an hour long.
I plan on watching them, the titles look interesting.

Date: 2019-11-30 10:11 am (UTC)I’ve not read Sanderson but we have some of his titles in YA. I didn’t realize how many books he wrote until I went to his site: our catalogue has 117 entries but that includes a lot of different media and even editions.

Date: 2019-11-30 03:50 pm (UTC)Yeah, I'm not really interested in his fiction, but that doesn't mean I might not appreciate his teaching. Apparently a student approached him about recording them, he agreed but they were all shaky-cam, so later he approached a pro to do it and these be them.
