Somebody did a classic parking lot sideswipe. No major damage, I don't think the metal deformed, mainly paint scrape.

It was inevitable that it would happen, it was mearly a question of time. Today, as it turned out, was when time expired.

No information was left, so I'll get the car polished and see if I can do something with the touchup paint that the dealership gave me.

Surprisingly, I'm not really pissed about it. I guess I'm too tired/sick/recovering. Sad, but it would have happened sooner or later.

Doing MUCH better, thank you Liz! Fever was gone yesterday, got two steroid meds anyway and I can breathe wonderfully well this AM. My original plan was to drive home today, but I'm going to be a lazy bum and continue to rest and do light stuff, then drive home tomorrow. I'd rather be home sooner, but I do not want to risk nastiness on the road.

I'm just thankful that whatever it was cleared fairly quickly and did not include high velocity purging from either end. It was still a miserable several days.
