WOW! Helicopter crash! Helicopters are notoriously finicky to fly and it doesn't take much to knock them out of the air. Five other people died in the crash, including Kobe's daughter.

He was a five-time NBA All-Star and a scoring legend.

So tragic. I heard there was a lot of fog that night and a normal helicopter would've stayed grounded.

I haven't heard any details, but that could easily down a helicopter.

We had a nasty fog the other night, all three of us coming up the mountain in individual cars. Pretty much zero visibility the last mile or two.

That's unfortunate, because there was a lot more that Kobe could have done, both for the game and for all the people who wanted to be Kobe.
