Would it make you feel better if Russia defense contractors also had data security problems?

Hackers got in to a contractor to the FSB, the Russian state police security bureau, and stole 7.5 TERABYTES of data! This is an old article posted last July, but it's still good for a laugh. They got information showing how Russia, Our Old Friends, were trying to de-anonymize TOR, cut themselves off from the world-wide Internet, etc.

I love it when other people find their security methods are also not up to snuff.

Russia's "Security" apparatus has the same problems - real and perceived - with TOR as the Americans' intel services? Should we consider that comforting or worrying?

Considering who developed TOR, it’s kind of amusing the resources the US gov’t put behind trying to de-anonymize it. It’s kind of comforting that it has, for the most part, held up well to attack.
