I'm a bit disappointed that they don't really do it what I'd consider "properly" but I suppose it'd require them having sections, a therefore a lot more people to do all the overlapping parts.

I did still giggle a lot, especially at the high soprano bits.

(Though they're not consistent about that, which bothers me. Not all high notes are held up, only some???? I've sung those notes, I know which ones you have to strain for, but... Oh well, it's a comedy thing, not a consistent rendering of the song thing, and I'm just the wrong kind of pedantic nerd to not be a little bothered.)

I think I'm giving the wrong impression, because that was fantastic! Just...classical music nerd here who's performed this song about a million times, including singing 3 out of the 4 parts. :3

I think it was a high school production, maybe a talent show thing. And if it was high school, I think it was pretty freakin’ amazing! Yeah, not 100% perfect, but for comedy, aces all the way.

I think there would be even greater comedy value if all the parts were represented and there still had to be some amount of the crossing-over or "only one sign for the word that is trying to appear in several places", but that would probably take both more people and very tight choreography.
