It's not often that me reading my morning comics will make me actually laugh out loud - this one got me.

I see no real irony in it. I AM fed up. All of us worked so hard, and worked together - wore the masks, worked from home, gave up movies and restaurants and baseball and a thousand other things, only to have the rioters undo every bit of it.

And the leaders of the government wasted six months and are undoing it all even further.

But also, schadenfreude at this story of thing seems ghoulish rather than hilarious.

I was reading about how #45 is trying to keep this Covid-proof ring around him and how he feels personally betrayed whenever someone gets sick. One of these days he might get it, and he’s high risk between his age and weight and poor diet habits.

That's the funny thing about the virus. It doesn't care about who you are, only whether you are following the recommendations.

The sort of thing you wish an your opponent is something that will give them pain and suffering but no lasting damage, so they can get wise. Coronavirus, for him and his Vice, would likely be deadly, and that means nobody learns anything at all.
