English women should never get together in groups of two or more, especially if they've ever worked together, because it almost inevitably will result in someone being murdered nearby.

I would imagine that with COVID and social distancing that the murder rate in England has dropped significantly.

I love it.

Actually, most thriller, horror, and many other movies (and to a lesser extent books) depend on people being stupid. "Hey, there's severed head on the porch of that spooky, isolated old house. Let's get the gang and go investigate, much better idea than calling the police."

One would hope. Also, I expect the consultancy fees for detectives who never leave their houses to increase with new demand. We hope their chroniclers and runners have a salary increase from it.
