Born into a family of performers going back into vaudeville, Dean had a career spanning over five decades: he was a child actor, appeared in Long Day's Journey Into Night, Battlestar Galactica which led to many TV series roles, his recurring series as the holographic sidekick Al to Sam in Quantum Leap. But what I did not know, and will henceforth cherish, is he voiced Duke Nukem.
You had an amazing career, sir. Rest in peace, you've earned it.

Date: 2021-11-10 02:12 pm (UTC)Quantum Leap was such a unique and fun series, and so much relied upon the chemistry between Sam and Al. It's unlikely it would have been as successful without that chemistry.
