So a third Torrie PM in a year. And BoJo The Clown is throwing his hat in the ring, even though he's still under investigation for lying to Parliament? If they weren't desperate to cling to power and had any dollop of honour left, they'd call for a general election, but they won't.

Liz has two distinct records: tanking the UK economy in record time with her proposed tax hike, which dropped the Pound below parity with the U.S. dollar for the first time in ages, and shortest tenure as Prime Minister. The previous record holder lasted five months: at least he had the dignity of dying in office after catching pneumonia.

Hard to believe that death by pneumonia confers extra dignity, but historical context can do a lot for your reputation post-mortem.

At least they're getting rid of theirs when they turn out to be sufficiently incompetent or criminal that they can't hide behind it. We have too many collaborators to dismiss someone sitting in the halls of power when they do it here.

Except for a very good chance that BoJo The Clown could very well waltz right back in and nix the committee that's investigating him.  Much like a certain Floridian who thinks he wants to run in the next POTUS cycle on this side of the pond....  At least our clown has a lot more at risk than their clown in many more dimensions, though I'm not sure that's a good thing.
