I received a news mailing from Rolling Stone today:

"Election Day: Astrologers say Blood Moon spells chaos!"

DUH!

I could have told you that months, if not years, ago!

The Republican Party KNOWS that white people are not going to be a majority presence in the USA in the not distant future. It is a statistical certainty. So they try to gin up their numbers thru scare tactics and flat-out rigging the game. It's the only way they can win, honesty is a losing game and is for suckers. I have no idea what the outcome of the election will be, there's too many on-going attempts to disqualify mail-in ballots, etc., we certainly won't know Tuesday night or even Wednesday in many places.

But we will find out. At least until the lawsuits challenging results start getting filed.

I have the same fear.  And if not this election cycle, one soon to come.  I don't see any reduction in the intensity of the Trumpification of America.  It's just a label as he's the personification of it, the Republicans were working towards this at an increasing pace ever since Newt was in Congress, Trump just accelerated the process and is an uncontrollable tool.

My wife is working the election in Cloudcroft today.  I received a text this morning that she had problems registering the Mayor to vote!  I think it was the early morning 'ironing out the kinks' sort of stuff.  Personally, I label the Republicans method as Cheat To Win, and as At Any Price.

I would delight in being able to look an elected official in the eye and explaining to them that they are not properly registered to vote.

We will find out, and in the most crucial parts where all the not white people look like they might elect someone unacceptable to white people, we will have to wait for the lawsuits.

I'm sure that there are more than a few historians who are getting all sorts of papers and presentations over how the racists never went away, they just swapped parties.

So far from what I am hearing, it's not the massive Red wave that the Repubs have been predicting. Probably going to take the house and the senate is still up in the air.
Oh Darn, Oz lost his race.
YAY my governor was reelected. And so was the Sec. of State.
Unfortunately, the Att. General and Auditor are not looking great. :o

These ancient white male republicans, ugh. But yeah, they are holding onto their whiteness and messed up belief system by the skin of their teeth. Some women too!

They are SO afraid of diversity, sigh.
