Texas abortion ban INCREASES infant deaths!

Basically, a study showed an almost 13% increase in infant death, mainly from genetic/chromosome defects that the mothers were forced to carry to term, where in a more humane society they could have had an abortion and avoided a lot of misery. One in eight.

Still banned? Abortions for ectopic pregnancies, which have an almost zero percent chance of delivering a viable infant, and an extreme risk of mother mortality.

They care about the fetus until it is born, and they care about the mother not at all.

I haven't noticed many forced birthers caring about what happens to a child even 30 seconds after birth.

Well, of course they were going to have an uptick in infant mortality when they banned abortions, unless they were already counting abortions as infant deaths. It's like how better armor and helmets result in an uptick of injuries reported, because people who would have otherwise died now survive and get to be injuries. Where I think they don't want to look, and they should, is the maternal mortality rate along with the infant one, because I'll bet that's going up, too, and those deaths are eminently preventable with abortions and other such care.

(For full clarity, there's probably also additional infant deaths because mothers are being required to carry to term, but I suspect the majority of new infant deaths reported are having to now account for what they could write off as abortions.)
