A Democrat put forth a motion to impeach President Biden in the House

It's an amazing piece of footage. Unfortunately I don't have a cite at the moment, but it might be making articles tomorrow.

He's on the committee that's been investigating the President and his family for about as long as this Congress has been in session. And he gets recognized by the Chair, and he says "I'm going to make this easy for you since you seem to have a problem doing this. I formally make a motion to impeach President Joe Biden. Can I have a second?"

*crickets*

He goes on to say "See? They won't do it because they know they have no evidence and can't bring charges."

Hilarious! Just an absolutely brilliant move!

Pretty much.  Though I think privileged idiot might be more accurate.  Born into incredible wealth and privilege, believed that made him superior and therefore smarter, thus he didn't need to learn anything and become a better person.  So he didn't.

Zero compassion for either.  Melania has demonstrated plenty of attitude in her time in the public eye and lack of empathy, and apparently Barron is pretty much cut from the same cloth as his father and brothers.  The entire family is pretty warped.  Fred's family seems to have been the only one that had a chance of getting out unscathed, and they drove Fred to death by drink and let him pretty much die on a cot in the attic then swindled his kids out of their inheritance.

Calling out the enemy and holding their feet to the fire is always a good thing!  Once upon a time, politicians could say "my honorable opponent", I don't know if that phrase will ever come back into honest usage.

In order to become a politician, a person has to consciously renounce whatever honor they might have naturally possessed. An honorable politician will fail. Only a total scumbag who's willing to lie, steal, commit violence, and resort to trickery, bribery, blackmail, and various other forms of criminal behavior. Here in the NY metro area, NJ senator Robert Menendez has been removed from office because he received bribes of various sorts to use his senatorial powers to do favors for foreign businesses. The mayor of NYC appointed a lot of people to various positions when he took office, and many of these are now being accused of using their positions for profit.

Certainly putting the point on it that the investigation and the rest is in fact a show meant for cameras and supporters, and will not produce anything that could be actionable, and will not finish itself because it's not producing anything actionable.
