Xerox buying Lexmark's printer division

thewayneKind of interesting news. A $1.5b transaction, inclusive of debt and other assumed liabilities. I owned a Lexmark laser printer back 15 years ago, it was pretty good - quite the workhorse. But that was when they were an IBM spinoff, before they went to China.
Xerox makes or made pretty good gear, it'll be interesting to see what the result of this acquisition produces. I wish they'd also brought in their laptop division, but that would have been kind of outside of Xerox's wheelhouse.
