I'd forgotten how good Breyer's Vanilla was!

I frequently have their Mint Chocolate Chip on hand, both of us quite like it. Last Monday I picked up two half gallons to take to the observatory for milk shakes, one vanilla, one chocolate. I finished off the mint a couple of nights ago and decided to have some ice cream tonight, so I had a little chocolate and a little vanilla. And man, that vanilla was good!

I've always liked Breyer's Vanilla, I think it's the inclusion of the vanilla beans. Of course, the fact that their ingredients are so pure and not unpronounceable is a definite bonus.

Ben & Jerry's Vanilla is also great, perhaps a bit creamier, but it's so much more expensive on a cost per once basis. I always like stopping at the B&J in Horton Plaza for a vanilla hot fudge sundae when I'm in San Diego.

Now, go get some IBC Root Beer, and make the world's best float. Any other old-fashioned, draft-style, or heaven forbids actual draft root beer would work as well. Yeah, Breyer's Natural Vanilla is awesome.

It's been a while since I've had IBC. Unfortunately grocery shopping up here is hit or miss. I'll have to look out for some, I love IBC root beer. Recently I've been enjoying cream soda.
