Congratulations, sweetheart, you just described and failed the Duck Test.

President TACO conned these people into giving him hundreds of millions of dollars to attend this "dinner". They were served poor-grade airline food, allegedly Walmart-grade steaks, he gave a rambling 23 minute speech that had nothing to do with crypto currency or the direction he's steering the nation in regards to it. And then he left. He allegedly had a private meeting with some of the highest donors, I haven't seen anything about that particular meeting.

In other words, per usual, SCAM.

Oh, I almost forgot the second part. And GRIFT.

Well, that's pretty par for course for him - he already got what he wanted from them, the money and the crypto boosting, so he's not interested in providing anything of value in return to the marks that he's suckered. The only way you get anything out of him is by having something he wants, and if you're the kind of person or entity that has something he wants, you're probably a menace to the rest of us.

I feel like I would be remiss in not pointing out that this president who is happy to arrest and deport young, brown people in the name of his so called "fight against antisemitism" entertained the creator of a meme coin called "Fuck the Jews."

Because he's only interested in "fighting antisemitism" if it means he can deport young, brown people and use Jews as a scapegoat for doing things he wanted to do anyway.

Yeah, while I had not read that specific article, I'd read numerous stories about the very racist symbols for crypto currency.  It's pretty appalling.

Not surprised by the walmart-level of food as Donny is notoriously known for having bad taste in food (too). Still curious about the entry price for the dinner though :)


On a separate note: this is, imho, next-level irony that a man with a very stable hatred of Latinos and Mexicans in particular is being called TACO now, huh :)
If I were a Latina, I would have been moderately offended by this sort of cultural appropriation :)

It was for top purchasers for his crypto token, which was several million $US.  Yeah, he was dubbed TACO by a Wall Street analyst because of what he's been doing with tariffs: Trump Always Chickens Out!  So from now on and forever, it's President TACO!  ROFLMAO!  A reporter asked him about it, and his reply was his standard "That's a very nasty question and you're a nasty person for asking it!", so clearly it's gotten under his skin!
