thewayneA mile down the road from my wife's observatory is the National Solar Observatory, called Sunspot. It actually has a community around it, for a long time the road from Cloudcroft to Sunspot was a dirt road and they were isolated when the snows allegedly came. They had a helopad for medivac if required.
They have a pottery kiln there. They make coasters there almost every week and sell them at the gift shop.
It's called the Harry Pottery.
