thewayneI bought a new Palm Pilot last week, a T|X. It's a very nice puppy, LOTS of memory so I've actually loaded some pictures into it. I even downloaded a Scrabble game into it and registered it yesterday. My wife is a demon Scrabbler, as is Bear, and I have a great vocabulary but a lousy strategic sense for the game, so I pretty well suck at it. This version supports single player, me vs my Palm (heh... he said palm!).
Well, this means that my old Palm Pilot, a Vx, is not currently going to be used. I decided to give it to my wife for playing games on when she's bored as her Palm died a couple of months ago. And I decided it would be really cool to install Scrabble on it for her.
So last night I go to plug my old one back into its sync cradle. A tiny spark leapt out.
It appears that I might have fried the sync cradle.
It still charges, but doesn't sync.
GARG! I have another one somewhere, perhaps when I unearth it it will be OK.
Sigh.
