George Bush, Worst President in History?

In an informal poll of 415 historians, 81%+ said yes. Rolling Stone presents the article here. I post this mainly because it explains some the reasons that they qualify Bush as Worst Evah, I found them interesting.

I don't do Slate too much, I'll have to check into it.

I remember back in '01 when I was in Virginia, we took a day trip up to Washington DC mostly via train, we had to drive up to the station. When we left, we walked back to Pennsylvania Station and they had a store that was selling umbrellas, tshirts, door mats, etc. with Bush malaprops. Quite amusing.

I just wish his administration had stayed amusing with no 9/11 and them turning the world upside down.

Yeah... it's the worst possible combination. Having 9/11 AND Bush in power at the same time. But then, hey, it probably was causal.

Heh.. hooray for a historical perspective. It seems like EVERY president is terrible, but Bush W really IS terrible.
