I usually eat at TB once or twice a week. There's a girl who works there, Jennifer, whom I see frequently. Over the past nine months or so, I know she's married and her hubby is military. He's either completed his training and is serving somewhere or he's in advanced training or something, he's definitely not in a war zone.

I suppose Jennifer is cute. She's not unattractive, in fact she's probably perfectly cute for late teens/early 20s, but she's barely out of her teens and still has some growing to do, not to mention still has adolescent acne. It's not like I'm hitting on her or interested in her, but she's nice to talk to.

Well, last night I'm at TB and at the drink station. There are two guys sitting near it, and Jennifer starts cleaning tables during an ordering lull. She's near the guys and one of them asks her a question, I can't hear it fully, but it sounds like he was asking when she got off work. She replies that she's married and moves away, continuing her cleaning.

I walk up to the counter (my food hasn't been completed yet) and ask her if she gets hit on a lot. She says not only all the time, but more than I would think. I'm not sure I know how to parse that answer except to peg the "Not At All -> A Lot" scale on the right side.

I suggested she gets a lapel pin or badge that says "Happily Married". She laughed.

Oh, and word to the wise, my friend Dave went to go donate blood after eating at Taco Bell. The nurse at the donor place told him that they couldn't use his blood because it had WAY too much cholesterol in it and it was too thick. All he had was a burrito and a hard shell taco! Yikes! Get yourself a lunch box, man!

Heh. I would guess that your friend naturally has a lot of chlorestorol. My diet hasn't changed radically in years and I have pretty good chlorestorol. I donated over a gallon of blood when I was working for the police department and sold who knows how much plasma a few years back.

I avoid TB's beef and stick almost entirely with chicken.

Yes, but you were surprised by the amount of sodium in your breadless wraps awhile back there??? Trust me, kiddo, they ain't got nuttin' on TB nor most of the fast food places.

Don't get me wrong: I *like* to eat at a few of those places, including Taco Bell (I am addicted to their mild hot sauce, which is just pathetic). I just don't do it more than a time or two in a year.

Oh, I know. I don't eat fast food daily, and I should eliminate even that. I'm beginning to get close to getting a handle on our household, when that happens I'll work towards getting better at preparing lunches to take down ze mountain, maybe even getting dinners made for Russet.
