Wonderful wife!
Aug. 11th, 2005 12:14 pmWe were driving down to Alamogordo yesterday to have dinner, do some shopping, and see Willy Wonka (review to be posted later) and I was going through a mental checklist of sorts of things we had to do before Russet could hit the road for Ohio after a visit to the dentist today. One of these things was a key for the post office box, you see, they don't deliver mail here. Everyone who lives in the village limits has a free PO box downtown. Russ said that hopefully there's something there for both of us, which piqued my curiosity greatly. Well, turns out that a DVD had arrived -- the complete first season of Wonder Falls!
Though only four episodes aired, they made 13. I do enjoy this program! We watched three last night, re-watched the pilot to reacquaint ourselves and then watched the second and fourth as Russ hadn't seen those. So much good stuff, unfortunately, too intelligent for network television. Pity it wasn't picked up by cable, they had such a great ensemble cast.
I'm going to do my best to resist watching them while she is gone, it won't be easy! But we have lots of other DVDs to watch, and I've got to finish Butterfly Sword before I go back to Phoenix as I need to return it to whoever it was that I borrowed it from.
