Tired tired tired tired tired
Sep. 3rd, 2006 04:19 amDrove to Phoenix Friday, 500 miles on six hours of sleep! Had a bottle of rocket fuel along with lots of chewing of Altoids gum.
Friday night I had some friends over and we played Waste of Celluloid. It went well, everyone thoroughly enjoyed the game. And I made a lot of notes of things to change for the next deck iteration. The main problem with the game is that (a) it is VERY slow to play (our game took 3 1/2 hours), and (b) there's too many cards. Reducing the card count will speed things up a bit, I'm planning some other streamlines that will simply have to be experimented with to see how they affect things.
Today I spent money on photo supplies! Whee! $87 on ten rolls of slide film, another $50 for a box of paper and some other stuff. Followed by picking up a starter set and two boosters of the new game Horror Clix. VERY cool figs! I'm hoping to start running an RPG and I'll be able to use some of these.
Got home tonight and found out that Celeste decided to opt for a high carb diet: she finished off a loaf of bread and a bag of bagels. *sigh*
Anyway, I'm off to bed.
