Some information on how ISPs are updating their core routers to comply with the law requiring them to cooperate with police information requests. Basically, short of encrypting all of the traffic leaving your computer, your ISP can read anything and at real-time speeds.

It's happening. And a lot of companies are paying because they can't afford to lose their data, particularly when their files are encrypted with 4096-bit encryption.

4096 bit encryption?

The trojan allegedly encrypts your data. And sure enough, your files appear scambled.

It ain't 4096 bit encryption. Apparently it's a simple XOR transformation. There is no way your PC could encrypt pretty much your entire hard drive with 4096 bit encryption -- your hard drive would be spinning like a dervish and your CPU would be overheating.

Anyway, here's some info on what's going on.
