It's most applicable if you have multiple cards in it.

Recently I opened up my bank account online and found, much to my surprise, a balance on my credit card! It should have been zero. The amount corresponded to a recent online purchase that I'd made through Paypal, but I told PP to use my debit card, so it should have gone to my checking account.

Yesterday, I made an eBay purchase, again using Paypal, and this time I paid attention.

The order of my cards had changed! My credit card had been at the bottom of my list, it was now at the top! I don't know why, the last four digits of the card would have placed it after my debit card, and the bank name is the same. I marked my debit card as Prefered, so hopefully this won't happen again.

Dunno what happened, but something to keep an eye on if you don't want your credit card to be accidentally used!

Sidney agreed to plead guilty to reduced charges, getting the RICO counts dismissed. She's pleading guilty to misdemeanors, will serve six years probation, pay restitution, write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia - I really like that part! - and best of all, will testify against the other people charged in this sprawling racketeering case.

No mention as to whether she'll lose her legal license, I would expect it will be suspended until she completes her parole. At least she'll be saving a buttload of money from having to defend herself against those RICO charges!

While this settles Powell's situation in Georgia - FOR NOW, she's not free and clear. Apparently Jack Smith is looking over the possibility of charges against her. There is speculation that she previewed some extremely damning evidence and testimony that she's willing to produce on the witness stand under oath to get the charges against her reduced and dismissed. But therein is the fly in the ointment: I'm sure these reduced charges are entirely contingent on her producing against her co-defendants before she gets that plea agreement actually certified.

In other news, Arizona is increasing its investigation of the false electors issues from the 2020 election, which will not only involve Trump, but Rudy and I'm pretty sure Sidney, not to mention - or so I imagine - a whole clown-car full of a supporting cast. There's no telling when those charges will drop, but I expect they will. The wheels of justice may turn slow, but they grind exceedingly fine.
