Wonderful! I hate to see the forest all dried out and tindery. Of course, now I may not be able to reach my cabin...it will all depend on the condition of my dirt roads! Oh, well, I'd rather walk than see ashes.
We've been getting a fair amount of rain of late, they had some major flooding in Alamogordo along with some hail. I doubt you'll have too much problem getting to your cabin.

Yep, Jamocha Bean's the best food in Cloudcroft short of The Lodge IMO. You can see the post office directly out of the front door and the Alsup's ahead to the left. And they have free WiFi, you just need to ask them for the piece of paper with the config info.
I normally work 1-10pm Mon-Fri and off on the weekend, I'm in town this coming weekend (the 15/16th) but I'll be gone the following two weekends. Their grill closes at 4-4:30pm weekdays, 3:30 on the weekend IIRC.
