ARGH! It looks like my laptop's hard drive is failing!

Locked up two or three times today, making noise, I think it's doomed. But I bought a service contract for it (one of the few things that I'll buy one on), so I should be able to get a new one installed. The question is, timing is getting kinda tight on me going to Phoenix for Con Games, can it be done before I go? I'm betting the answer is no.

Fortunately it's up right now, I'm burning a CD of my recently changed stuff.

Sorry about your laptop. Technology does have its problems!

I'd like to propose a date and time for getting together while I'm up there. I'm going to Santa Fe from the 6th -- 12 of August, so I think we better jump on the dates available.

What about meeting at the Jamocha Bean on Saturday, August 5th, at about 1:30? Does that sound OK?

Just in case you don't get this until I am up there, here's a phone number: 512 417 2913. It's my cell so at times it doesn't work -- like in the tunnel. However, it will always take a message.
