If you're interested and haven't seen the final episode, there's spoilers beneath the cut so you might want to come back later. If you're not interested, I shall bore you no further.

Pretty cool. I happened to turn on my tv after lunch and saw that they were running the entire series, so I finally got to see the first episode. It was pretty funny because they showed a number of the heroes who auditioned but didn't make it, one of them, her super power was to take off her top and stun the bad guys. Unfortunately she didn't make it past the initial screening.

Based on initial (and subsequent) interviews, Feedback definitely did lose his father when he was young. But what I found most interesting was that he is from Las Cruces! I thought that was pretty cool.

Once I saw tonight's challenge, the stunt school with the green screen (didn't they used to be blue?), it was obvious to me that it would be Feedback. With Fat Mama not doing the trapeeze jump, and with valid reason, I think that cemented Feedback's win.

I was glad to see them bring back everyone who participated, or at least most everyone. I didn't see a couple from the first two episodes, but they might have been in the background.

He's still a bit of a whiner fan boy, but he won, so that counts for something.

Two things that I found interesting. First, the copyright date on the program was 2005, so the program has been long over. Second, the strangeness about Dark Horse producing the comic of the series when Stan Lee is Marvel through and through. Well, Dark Horse is going to be the publisher of the Feedback comic. I'm not sure why Stan is creating a character for them, and I'm assuming he's going to write the first issue or few, I guess he has enough pull that he can take liberties with his relationship with Marvel.

I wonder if we're going to see the other contestants appear in the comic. I'm also curious how soon we'll see the SciFi movie, and how bad it will be. ;-)

Once upon a time the screens were blue, but they went to green because people wear apple green a lot less than they wear bright blue. It has also been said that you get cleaner matte lines with green screens, but I'm not sure I believe that.

Ah, that makes sense. I do remember some blue failures.

Odds are it has a 2005 date because they shot season 1 and 2 back-to-back before airing either (maybe even a season 3). Reality shows like that (Joe Schmoe did the same thing) where knowing what happened in the previous season would totally change the show will sometimes do that. I suspect the same here, so that the season 2 people will be just as generally clueless of what "Stan" wants (as though he has anything to do with it) as the first crew.

Ah! I am new to the world of reality tv. Makes sense. I was wondering if we'd see subsequent seasons, I'm sure this one got high enough ratings to continue airing more, especially since the entire run was only six episodes.

Okay, I haven't followed the comics scene in over six years so my knowlege may be somewhat out of date, but Stan's relationship with Marvel no longer has anything to do with the production of comics (and hasn't for over three decades). Last I recall, he was vice-president/figurehead who made public appearahces (such as at conventions) and dealt with Marvel productions into other forms of media (such as movies). I don't believe that Dark Horse required exclusivity contracts for the writers, artists, or others who produce their comics, so having Stan write one comic (I don't believe that Stan would commit to writing more than one comic) wouldn't be anything more than a one-shot deal for them and well worth the publicity their company would receive (hell, they've already had their company mentioned on every episode of WWTBaSH). My guess is that Marvel and DC turned down the idea because they would prefer to own the rights to any characters that appear in their comics where as Dark Horse (and other indies) believe strongly in creator rights.
