This is a flow chart of a series of questions to ask telemarketers. Basically, telemarketers have a very carefully developed script to be able to handle and control any conversation, unless, of course, you hang up. This script gives you a leg up on switching the roles! (it's also quite amusing)

Bahahaha! I used to hand the phone over to one of the kids whenever a telemarketer called but now they're too big to get a kick out of talking to frustrated strangers anymore. Pity. The eldest was a master at keeping telemarketers on the phone when she was about three years old.

I actually did a free-form version of this to a TM who was seeling loan consolidations... she didn't mind, told me she was bored anyway. We had a nice little chat.
