Way back when I was a young lad, I would go to parties also frequented by the local pyromaniac.
His solution was to turn the portable blowtorch on the Hard Drives, which worked just as well.. :)

Blowtorch would be good, and would probably be effective, but I think melting it down into ingots is several notches up the cool scale.
