NaNo Progress and The Weekend

Topped 14,000 words, so that felt good. I would have liked to have hit 16-18k, but it was kind of a rough weekend. We bought an elliptical trainer last week and put it together tonight, I completed my writing, now I'm going to bed.

Ah, well, my friend whom I'd planned to send all of my bits and pieces hasn't been writing back (stupid small business that needs running!) and so I'm left without feedback. I don't want to have my text harvested by spambots and I don't want my other friends to find out what I'm doing yet, and in the meantime my momentum got stalled. At least I'm still thinking bits through during the slow parts at work so I'll have something to write.

But it's hard, doing it in a vacuum. (And *I'm* not writing science fiction, so I have no use for vacuum!)
