Sandia National Labs making surf boards?!

It's true! (sorta) It seems that the company who made the most foam blanks for surf boards closed in late 2005, and someone noticed that the foam used to protect electronics in nuclear missiles had similar characteristics....

Surfer reformed, eh? ;-) I would imagine there's not too much surfing culture in the UK.

I dont know much, if anything, about the UK surfing scene.
I know it exists, Apparently cornwall and wales have some good surf.

I havent been on a board since I was...well..young :)
