A Steampunk Keyboard!

It's gorgeous! This guy took a computer keyboard, bought typewriters off eBay to harvest the keys, and totally rebuilt the keyboard with lots of nice and shiny brass. One thing that's really sweet is the function keys are labeled in roman numerals!

I didn't read the text, I just looked at the pretty pictures. I wonder how much this thing cost in parts and labor?

So do I, but aside from laptops, for day-to-day work I need an ergonomic keyboard, thus it would not work too well for me. I'll have to look for the site, but there is also some people who have made computers that look like the terminals in Terry Gilliam's movie, Brazil. I'm sure that I have it bookmarked somewhere.

I'd truely like to have my laptop modded the steampunk way... That'd be cool, but since I'm not that much a computer geek, I will never be able to do anything else than perhaps painting it... :(
