I see good coming of this. If their HQ is in Dubai, and the significant board members are in Dubai, then cancel their American government contracts and give them to American corporations!

Gee, I wonder where Cheney will retire to once he's out of office (assuming he isn't already in prison at that point).

What I heard and read was that they would maintain an office in TX, but their HQ would be Dubai. I don't think they would gain any tax benefit if they still had their HQ in TX, but I could easily be wrong.

Also, though, the brief bit I'd heard had nothing to do with tax savings, it was about being headquartered where a huge portion of the new mideast oil boom is centered.
