Very funny stuff. FYI, the term "butt-stroked" is the classic detective move of hitting someone in the back of the head with the butt of your pistol or rifle. The reality of that move is that they'll probably die, but it's good enough for television, movies, and comics.

Thanks for explaining "butt-stroked." I can't pick my favorite of those panels. Spiderman's aunt is always comic gold, but the pimptastic dialogue in that Dr. Doom panel just keeps me snickering.

The term was frequently used in WW II movies, it's also sort of synonymous with "pistol whipped". I really liked the Reed Richards/Sue Storm at two levels: the "we'll do the town", which, from an archaic perspective is fine but now has a totally different connotation, and the "letting a woman buy new clothes makes everything alright."
