The Chinese government has opened a theme park that is pretty much a direct copy of Disneyland -- all without the knowledge, cooperation, or licensing and royalties to the American corporation. Castles, characters, costumes, all lifted.

Just goes to prove the Chinese don't give a damn about copyright laws.

I know Disney isn't what it used to be. There was a time when the Disney name actually had some integrity.

It's amusing on one hand because Disney has been ruthless about getting copyright extended (Mickey would be a public domain item if they hadn't gotten the laws passed) and in stealing and not paying for copyrighted material (Lion King/Kimba the White Lion, also Finding Nemo), but it also shows how little respect China has for any other country.
